This is particularly important.
Not every candidate is automatically eligible for every Andhra Pradesh state-quota seat.
The AP counselling prospectus specifies local/non-local status and other eligibility conditions. Recent Dr. NTR UHS PG admission notifications specifically state that candidates from other states may not be eligible for certain Competent Authority Quota seats unless they satisfy the applicable local/non-local requirements.
Therefore, candidates should check the 2026 AP PG Medical Prospectus before applying for a particular category.
