Admissions to MBBS courses under the NRI (Foreign Indian Students) Quota in Private Medical Universities of Uttarakhand for the 2025–26 academic session are conducted through the Uttarakhand State Centralised Counselling Process, strictly on the basis of NEET-UG 2025 merit.
As per the Government of Uttarakhand notifications dated 12 September 2025, 15% of MBBS seats in selected private medical colleges are earmarked for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates. Admission under this quota is open to eligible NRI / OCI / PIO candidates, subject to fulfillment of prescribed eligibility conditions and submission of valid supporting documents.
All NRI admissions are carried out through a centralised merit-based counselling mechanism, and the verification of NRI status, nationality, and eligibility documents is done at the time of admission by the allotted medical college. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official university and counselling board websites for updates, schedules, and instructions, as no separate communication is issued.
